What Happens at the Impact-athon?

While the social enterprises are pre-selected to ensure alignment with the Impact-athon's goals, we welcome input from participants. If there’s a specific cause or organization you'd like to support, feel free to let us know, and we can explore opportunities for future collaborations.
Do I need prior experience with AI or video production?
No experience is necessary! The Impact-athon is designed for participants of all skill levels. Expert facilitators and video editors will guide your team throughout the process, and you’ll learn everything you need to know along the way.
What kind of videos will we create?
Teams will create short-form social media videos designed for platforms like TikTok and Instagram. These videos will focus on promoting the mission and work of the selected social enterprise.
How is the “most impactful team” determined?
Teams will be judged based on the social media success of their videos. Metrics like views, engagement, and overall impact will be considered in determining which team made the biggest splash online.
Can our organisation participate remotely?
Yes, the Impact-athon can be hosted virtually or as a hybrid event, allowing remote teams to participate from anywhere. We’ll ensure the tools and support are fully accessible to all team members, whether they are in-person or online.
What tools will we be using for the Impact-athon?
You’ll be using a variety of generative AI tools for brainstorming, content creation, and video production, as well as industry-standard video editing software with the support of professional editors.
