"I just kept asking myself, what does nobody else do, and would it be valuable to the end customer"

What is your project?

We start companies and give the majority of equity away for free

How long have you been working on it?

12 months

Whats the mission

Helping kids to learn about equity and company ownership

What inspired you to start?

The rising wealth inequality gap and financial education

How did you come up with the idea?

Initially it was going to be for early adopters of products to share in potential future success... buy a product and get some equity. But I just thought, many people can't afford to buy equity, so give most of it away for free and help people learn about business in the real world, if the project the co0own is a success or failure.

Walk us through your creative process

I just kept asking, what does nobody else do, and would it be valuable to the end customer

What creative challenges have you encountered and how did you overcome these challenges?

SO MANY! Most being to do with the financial regulation world, but also personal challenges in if it will be accepted as a model, as it's quite anti capitalist

What milestones have you hit

Created first project and people are starting to sign up for ownership, for free!

What's the next step?

Try and make the first project a success and go from there

How has the project challenged you?

Its tested my resolve for sure. I'm very passionate about this area but also sometimes feel helpless to the scale of the problem (wealth inequality). If thus project can help educate some kids to put them on track for a better financial future that will be job done.

What have you learned?

A lot about myself, and how much I didnt know.

How do you balance this project with other commitments?

Sometimes it gets put away for weeks at a time.
